About You
* You've got a solid background in HSE management (ideally within manufacturing or engineering)
* You're NEBOSH / IOSH / IEMA qualified
* Strong understanding of HSE legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work
* Internal and external auditing experience
* Well organised, practical and able to prioritise your workload
* Happy working independently but equally part of a wider team
About the role
* Oversee day-to-day health, safety, welfare and environmental activity across site
* Support and guide teams on HSE processes, policies and best practice
* Help manage and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS)
* Support compliance with ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 standardsCarry out risk assessments, inspections and regular reviews, keeping records up to date
* Be involved in audits and support follow-up actions/improvements
* Identify training needs and manage HSE-related training across the business
* Lead HSE meetings at both shopfloor and management level
* Produce reports and updates on HSE performance for senior leadership
