We are looking for a committed, creative and caring part time Early Years Practitioner to provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children.
The RSC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will join a team of lovely nursery staff, in a beautiful setting, who are dedicated to early childhood education and development.
Reporting to the Head of Nursery, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):
* Supporting young children to develop and grow by planning and leading activities that are fun and creative.
* Effectively delivering the EYFS curriculum, ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children are met.
* Developing and maintaining strong partnerships and communication with parents and carers.
* Advising the Designated Safeguarding Leads of any concerns.
* Helping with domestic tasks, preparing snacks / meals and cleansing of equipment
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:
* An Early Years childcare qualification to level 3.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Great communication and interpersonal skills.
* A perceptive, patient and responsive approach.
* A passion for learning through creative play.
* The desire to work in an environment with messy play space, free-flow activity areas, delicious home-cooked food and an outside learning garden.
Situated close to the Theatre in central Stratford-upon-Avon, the RSC Nursery offers a well-equipped setting where children to flourish, learn and enjoy.

We are also looking for qualified practitioners to join our casual/bank staff team, to provide ad hoc cover for absence.
