The Role As a Carer you will: Support clients with their personal care tasks including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, domestic tasks (light housekeeping, laundry) and companionship. Assist with getting up and going to bed, supporting with morning and evening routines. Maintain accurate records of care provided and note any changes in clients’ wellbeing. Support service users with administration, prompting or monitoring of medications as per the care plan (and training) ensuring safe practice. Follow health and safety, infection control, safeguarding, manual handling, and other regulatory procedures to ensure safe care delivery. Work flexibly – including weekends and evenings About You We’re looking for someone who: Has a caring and compassionate nature, with a genuine interest in supporting people. Is reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team and independently. Has good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients. Physical stamina and the ability to safely assist with mobility, positional changes, transfers and possibly manual handling.
