We have provided a Salary guide figure on our Job description, to reflect that this role is for a Term time contract and for 32.5 hours per week (classed as part-time hours).
1. This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.
1. Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.
About the role
This exciting role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to become a key member of Ballakermeen High School’s Alternative Provision team. We support students that are finding mainstream education challenging via our ‘Pathways’ programme, which offers a bespoke curriculum that provides targeted support tailored to the individual. On this programme, students are taught in small class environments where they are supported to develop their skillset and grow in self-confidence. Our ultimate goal, wherever possible, is to equip students with the necessary skills to successfully reengage back into mainstream provision.
