Job Description
Junior Accounts Assistant responsibilities:
3. Process and verify supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Manage payment runs while adhering to company policies and procedures.
5. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
6. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
7. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to address queries.
8. Assist in month-end closing tasks.
9. Contribute to the improvement of processes and systems.
10. Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Previous experience in accounts or a similar role.
12. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
