Job Purpose
Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, the 1st Line Customer Support Engineeris responsible forproviding professional and effective technical support to customers across the UK. Based at the Tankersley (Barnsley) site, this role is key tomaintainingand enhancing Dura-IDs growth and reputation by supporting customers with technical issues relating to existing hardware and software, as well as advising on best-fit new printing and labelling solutions.
Ideally this recruit will have done IT/Software support in a previous role. Experience of colour printers, thermal printers and labelling software would be beneficial but not essential. An ability to be patient, calm and professional under pressure is a necessity when dealing with end user problems, our candidate will have the ability to give confidence that we will deal with the issue, in a timely manner, and get them back up and running asap. The candidate must be presentable and professional with a can-do attitude, whether speaking to clients on the phone or face to face during client visits.
