About Our Client
You'll be working for one of the UK's most well-loved brands, having been established for nearly 150 years! With a number of distribution depots based all across the country, this will role will be based at their largest site based in Enfield. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the 24/7 operation set up (this role is office based, Monday - Friday) and working alongside the 500 employees based at site.
Job Description
The People Partner will:
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with employees, providing guidance and support
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
* Work collaboratively with senior management to drive the HR strategy
* Provide advice on HR best practices
* Work with union representative as needed
* Facilitate performance management and employee development programs
* Manage employee relations issues and workplace conflicts
The Successful Applicant
A successful People Partner should have:
* Extensive knowledge of HR practices and policies
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Solid understanding of employment legislation
* Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships
* Prior experience working within FMCG, Transport, Distribution, Manufacturing or other related industry (think shift patterns and unions!)
