Are you passionate about improving outcomes for people with neurological and complex needs? Do you have experience in neuro rehabilitation, ABI services, or specialist placements? We're looking for a proactive and driven Neuro Placement Manager to join our operational leadership team and support the continued growth of our services.
In this pivotal role, you'll coordinate high quality placements, ensure robust clinical and financial oversight, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional, person centred support.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate and manage specialist placements for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) and neurological conditions.
Complete comprehensive assessments and ensure personalised, clinically sound care plans are in place.
Work closely with case managers, clinicians, commissioners, families, and care providers.
Source, assess, and secure high quality neuro rehabilitation and complex care packages.
Ensure placements meet all clinical, financial, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and support MDT coordination, therapy reviews, and early placement oversight.
Conduct quality assurance audits and promote continuous improvement.
Generate referrals, support successful admissions, and identify new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative operational and strategic relationships internally and externally, consistently representing our brand, values, and ethos, and demonstrating a sound understanding of our specialist ABI expertise.
Plan, implement, cost, and evaluate programmes of care with confidence and autonomy.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who brings both clinical understanding and commercial awareness, with the ability to shape and sustain high‑quality placements.
Essential Experience & Skills
Experience in neuro rehabilitation, ABI services, complex care, or specialist placements.
Strong knowledge of Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding and commissioning pathways.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Exceptionally organised, responsive, and skilled at managing time effectively while coordinating a high volume of vacancies created by new bed availability and rapid rehabilitation turnover.
Experience coordinating multi‑disciplinary (MDT) and neuro‑therapeutic services (minimum 2+ years).
Proven experience generating referrals, supporting admissions, and developing new business.
Analytical approach with confidence in assessing risk and making sound placement decisions.
Compassionate, person‑centred mindset with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
Able to quickly build a strong understanding of the service model and proposition, with the confidence to communicate our offer clearly and accurately to commissioners and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Previous Experience
Recognised care or management qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 4 Care Management, HNC in Business/Management).
Clinical qualification desirable (e.g., RMN, RMNH, CQSW, or equivalent).
A minimum of 5 years' experience completing care needs assessments, contributing to accurate placement recommendations and enabling service managers to make timely, well-informed decisions leading to safe successful admissions.
