Ashburnham Road Surgery in Bedford is looking for two friendly, receptionists to join our team on a full-time basis, working 8am to 6.30pm with an hours break. The first permanent receptionist is required to commence at the end of February and the second will be a maternity cover to commence in April 2026. We are ideally l ooking for the staff who have previous experience in the NHS GP practice. The main responsibilities of the role include: Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages Maintain a clean and organized reception area Provide administrative support to other departments as needed Please see job description attached for more information.
