About the Role As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the school’s ALN team to provide tailored support for pupils requiring additional assistance throughout the school day. Your responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups Assisting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and emotional regulation Helping pupils access classroom activities through differentiated support Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social interaction Supporting behaviour management strategies and wellbeing initiatives Creating a calm, consistent, and supportive learning environment This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude, as building strong relationships with pupils will be central to your success within the position.
