HLTA – Full-Time Opportunity (Spring Term to End of Academic Year)
Location: Southampton
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of schools in Southampton who are seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in the Spring term and running until the end of the academic year.
This role would suit a flexible, dynamic HLTA who is experienced across KS1 and KS2 and is looking for a fresh challenge in a new school environment. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, delivering pre-planned lessons, and working closely with teachers to maintain continuity and high standards in the classroom.
The role will include:
* Delivering lessons and covering classes across KS1 and KS2 when required
* Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
* Working collaboratively with class teachers and senior leaders
* Adapting confidently to different classrooms and teaching styles
* Contributing positively to the wider school community
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds HLTA status or has significant experience at HLTA level
* Has recent experience working across both KS1 and KS2
* Is adaptable, proactive, and confident leading learning
* Is looking for a long-term opportunity and a change of pace

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
