Tax Manager (Research & Development Tax Relief)

We’re looking for an experienced & detail‑oriented R&D Tax Manager to lead a portfolio of clients and ensure smooth, compliant processing of R&D tax claims from start to finish.
Responsibilities
* Manage client portfolio from inception to review
* Streamline workflows for timely completion of jobs
* Lead & mentor team through the R&D process
* Improve client record‑keeping and processes
* Ensure compliance & quality: interview clients, meet R&D criteria, review reports
* Handle HMRC enquiries confidently
* Train junior staff, share knowledge & best practices
* Drive business development & client success
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in R&D tax relief
* Excellent report writing & communication skills
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation & case law
* Proven ability to manage teams & deadlines
