Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager include:
* Identifying new opportunities to grow the companies channel business within an existing customer account base
* Proactively follow up leads generated
* Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
* Work closely with the marketing team to achieve agreed objectives
* Liaise effectively with all departments within the company to ensure that customer requirements are met
* Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing best practice ideas
* Providing quotations to clients
* Working to targets and KPIs set
The Successful Applicant
The successful Sales Account Manager will have:
* Previous experience working within a sales environment
* IT/Telecoms industry experience is highly desirable
* Excellent telephone skills
* High degree of accuracy
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload
* Must be able to deal with technical product information
* Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
