This secondary Alternative Provision in South Birmingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students with challenging behaviours and social, emotional and mental health needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, understands the barriers young people face, and remains calm under pressure. As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting students on a 1-2-1 basis, managing behaviours and helping them to regulate their behaviours. This role requires a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting young people who have faced academic or social barriers. You will be joining a welcoming and supportive team of Teaching Assistants and Teachers who are determined to make a difference.
