Where will you be working? At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
What will you be doing?
As an engineer, you will form part of our Metering team that provides a wide range of services from Smart installations, investigating non-communicating smart meters, and emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of EON, OVO, EDF and our expanding client portfolio. You’ll work on your own, chat with customers and meet new people. Customer service is our top priority. You’ll ensure that all jobs are completed on time and provide in-depth explanations of the benefits and safe usage of their new meter. You’ll respond to emergencies, restoring power or gas when customers need it the most. You’ll receive continuous training to maintain and develop your skills. Our field management team has a strong track record of internal promotions. You’ll be supported with onboarding focused on health and safety. Weekly meetings with field managers and support functions provide help when needed. No day is the same, with opportunities to shine.
What you’ll bring

* Experience in electrical engineering or metering is helpful but not required
* Strong customer service attitude
* Willingness to learn and develop in a field-based role

* Salary: Dual Fuel – £40,974 plus £2k attendance and safety bonus per annum for full time roles (if based inside the M25)
* Dual Fuel (3 phase/CT) – £42,025 plus £2k attendance and safety bonus per annum for full time roles (if based inside the M25)
