Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate Art Teacher with at least 2 years of teaching experience and a strong background in portfolio development. You'll be working with students of varying ages and skill levels, helping them explore techniques, master concepts, and produce portfolio-ready work. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual learning styles and needs in milton keyens or online.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
* Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and confidence.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate updates as necessary.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of art teaching experience (school, private, or tutoring).
* Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents alike.
* A patient, empathetic approach towards teaching that fosters a supportive learning atmosphere.
* Proven ability to develop student portfolios for academic or creative submission.
* Availability to begin immediately and commit to a regular weekly schedule.
* Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory.
