OverviewWe are working on behalf of a highly regarded planning consultancy to appoint a talented Town Planner to join their growing Leeds team. The RoleAs a Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will be involved in managing planning applications, providing strategic advice to clients, and supporting senior team members on complex schemes.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
* Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients
* Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders
* Supporting project delivery from inception through to completion
* Monitoring planning policy and regulatory changes
* Contributing to business development and client relationship management
About You
* MRTPI qualified (or working towards accreditation)
* Proven experience within the private sector is essential
* Strong understanding of the UK planning system
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
