London-based employees receive an additional £3,217 London weighting.
A £312 tax-free working from home allowance is also payable annually.

About the role
As a Regulatory Support Advisor, you will help deliver effective engagement and proactive support to political parties, campaigners and agents across the UK.
You’ll be part of a team that delivers guidance and engagement across the Uks electoral community to ensure they understand their obligations and have access to clear, timely guidance.
Day to day, you will.
* Organise and facilitate advice surgeries, webinars and briefing events for stakeholders of and during electoral events
* Provide clear and consistent advice on political finance rules, ensuring stakeholders feel supported and confident in meeting their obligations
* Rise awareness of the Commission’s regulatory support services, strengthening our profile with the regulated communities
* Work with colleagues to develop innovative tools, resources and digital solutions that improve stakeholder compliance
* Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholder, representing the Commission at meetings and events
This is a varied role at the centre of the UK’s democratic system, providing you opportunities to engage directly with political parties and campaigners at all levels.

You’ll be joining the Regulatory Support Team, part of the Electoral Administration and Regulation directorate. We are a collaborative, supportive and solutions focused team that works closely with guidance, policy and public affairs colleagues.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and confident in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. This role would suit someone with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and an interest in the UK’s political and electoral systems.
To be successful you’ll bring
* Experience of developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience of delivering events, workshops or advice surgeries (or transferable experience in stakeholder engagement)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* An adaptable and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently
Familiarity with the UK’s political landscape and regulatory environment would be an advantage, but a strong willingness to learn is equally valuable.
