Role Title: Marketing Operations Lead Location: Leicester Salary: £50,000 (depending on experience) This is not a traditional Marketing Manager role. You will not just manage marketing, you will help bring structure, clarity and execution to a growing company, working directly with the Managing Director to enable the next stage of growth. We are looking for someone to work directly with the Managing Director as a right hand partner to help organise, structure and scale a growing marketing and software-driven business. You will sit at the intersection of marketing, operations and delivery, bringing clarity, organisation and momentum to both internal projects and client campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who understands digital marketing deeply, but prefers owning delivery, performance and execution rather than just running campaigns. We are a marketing agency and software business, working with clients on performance-driven (CPL) campaigns, alongside running our own online services business. What you will be responsible for? Business Operations & Delivery Act as the operational backbone of the business, ensuring projects move forward efficiently Run and organise weekly marketing, development and leadership meetings Track priorities, deadlines and deliverables across teams Implement and improve internal processes to support scaling Marketing Performance & Oversight Oversee performance of our digital marketing campaigns (conversion rates, ROI) Identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve results Work with teams to optimise conversion rates and funnel performance Internal Growth (Software and Service) Help manage and improve the full marketing mix (product, pricing, promotion, platform) Oversee website, funnels, communications and brand development Track and improve ROI across internal marketing activity Strategic Support to the MD Work directly with the Managing Director to turn ideas into structured execution Bring clarity to priorities and ensure focus on what drives growth Provide reporting, insight and accountability across the business This role suits someone who is commercially minded, data-driven and highly organised and structured. Essential Experience Strong background in digital marketing (paid media, funnels, performance metrics) Experience operating at Marketing Manager or senior level Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong understanding of CPL / CPA models and conversion optimisation Experience working in a marketing agency, digital or software environment Desirable Experience working closely with founders or senior leadership Familiarity with tools such as Asana or similar project management platforms Experience coordinating with software development teams
