Position Overview
This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Kannapolis, NC, USA. The Accounting Analyst supports daily finance operations, ensuring best practices in processing accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teamwork and Communication: Foster effective communication and relationships across departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Lead vendor setup, invoice processing, resolve queries, reconcile statements, and process payments. Prepare payment proposals mid-month and at month-end.
3. Accounts Receivable: Manage customer setup, invoicing, resolve queries, handle statements, and collect payments.
4. Treasury: Administer banking payments, record bank entries, reconcile bank statements, manage ledger entries, and balance sheet reconciliation.
5. Additional Support: Assist with credit card and expense reports, ERP upgrades, audit documentation, and adhere to safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: College degree in Accounting with 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge: Excellent communication, strong Excel skills, experience with MS Office and Microsoft D365 preferred, ability to work under pressure, team-oriented, proactive, detail-focused, and adaptable.
Equipment & Environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including D365. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, with occasional travel and flexible hours. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and working with machinery and hazardous materials, all in compliance with safety policies.
