Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of mechanical design projects from concept through to prototype and production.
* Translate system and functional requirements into detailed engineering solutions.
* Develop innovative designs for new products, service fixes, and product enhancements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, customer specifications, and cost targets.
* Produce accurate design documentation including BOMs and technical drawings.
* Support prototype builds and testing phases.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
* Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
* Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Criteria
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Strong grasp of engineering principles and hands-on problem-solving.
* Proficient in 3D CAD systems.
* Effective communicator with the ability to work across teams.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
* Passionate about engineering and continuous improvement.
