Talent-UK are recruiting for a Finisher/Turner on behalf of their client, a successful manufacturer in precision plastic moulding solutions on a Temp to Perm basis - the role is full time working 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday Basic responsibilities are: Receive works order with dimensions etc and/or a drawing to work from. Chisel, shape and turn the wood to fit component (chuck) Removing flashings from components and diaphragms from seals Mount the component onto a piece of wood Taking excess from component to fit specifications Turn the component to finish to the required standard Working by hand with a close attention to detail Oversee the setting up on lathes Any other duties as reasonably required. Looking for someone who is experienced with Lathes and the absolute ideal would be someone who has worked in plastics manufacturing before.
