About the Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will:
* Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
* Lead small group sessions and provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and behaviour.
* Assist in planning and preparing learning materials.
* Cover lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of education.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role will have:
* A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills, including Maths and English GCSE graded 4 (or equivalent).
* Experience working with children in an educational setting.
* The ability to motivate and encourage students.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* An understanding of strategies to support student behaviour and engagement.
