Sandwell Children’s Trust are recruiting for a Procurement & Performance Support Officer for the Commissioning & Placements Team. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is passionate, committed and dedicated to improving the lives of children & young people.
The post holder will support the Commissioning & Placements Team in the function of commissioning external placements, liaising with internal fostering team and supporting the Placement and Procurement Officers on the duty rota.
The post holders’ responsibilities will be: -
* To support the preparation and issue of procurement and contractual documentation and information.
* To prepare and issue monitoring documentation to service providers.
* To prepare information on services from monitoring information to assist with service review meetings.
* To contribute to the evaluation of services by supporting collection of evidence of outcomes from service providers.
* To monitor reported service activity against agreed milestones and Service Level Agreements and use judgements to assess and resolve conflicts in information, reporting to Procurement staff any variances or issues identified.
Candidates will need to have: -
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Studies
* Minimum of 18 months experience of working in a busy office environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with a range of stakeholders including staff from public and voluntary sector organisations and the general public. Ability to collate information from a variety of sources. Excellent administrative and IT skills. Knowledge of project management.
