As an Occupational Therapy Aide, you will work closely with our team of licensed therapists to assist in the treatment of our patients. Responsibilities
* Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for patient sessions.
* Monitor and adjust equipment as needed during treatment sessions.
* Escort patients to and from treatment areas and provide assistance as necessary.
* Maintain an organized and clean treatment area.
* Prepare hot and cold packs.
* Maintain and clean treating tables.
* Assist with laundry duties.
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or prolonged standing.
* Adherence to all HIPAA and OSHA laws and regulations; compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
