Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: £35,000- £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)

Location: Essex
My client design and manufacture a range of fabricated products and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Degree qualification or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Design
* Be proficient with using SolidWorks CAD software ideally
* Previous experience working in a similar Mechanical Design Engineer role within the manufacturing sector
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:
* Working within the existing design engineering team
* Producing solid models and drawings using SolidWorks CAD software
* Creating the necessary documentation for the designs including BOM’s
* Carrying out engineering calculations when required
* Liaising with other colleagues
* Offering technical assistance when needed to customers and suppliers
