Tradewind are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant who holds experience of Phonics learning schemes. The school are looking to appoint an individual to work with SEN children in the KS1 setting to raise pupil attainment.
About the role:
* This is a mixed ability class, and some pupils are diagnosed with SEN
* Support SEN pupils on a 1:1 or group basis
* Lead interventions when necessary
* Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
* Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons
Requirements:
* Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
* Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach
* Bachelor's degree is ideal but not essential
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
