Finance Transformation Lead
Location: Paris (3-4 days onsite)
Duration: Minimum 6 months (contract)
Day Rate: Competitive market rate
About the Role
We are partnering with a private equity backed business seeking a Finance Transformation Lead to drive a large-scale transformation of its finance organisation. This is not a finance controller or pure accounting position – instead, the role focuses on redesigning processes, building capability, and leading change across Finance.
The successful candidate will have a strong consulting background (Big4 or MBB preferred, but not essential) with proven experience in finance transformation programs. Candidates from transaction services or private equity portfolio consulting backgrounds will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the transformation of the Finance function, focusing on end-to-end processes such as Order-to-Cash.
2. Design and implement new finance processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
3. Develop training content, frameworks, and best practices to support change adoption.
4. Leverage tools and systems ( cash collection platforms, Power BI) to support automation and reporting improvements.
5. Partner closely with senior stakeholders to ensure transformation objectives are aligned with business strategy.
6. Act as a change leader, ensuring smooth implementation of new processes and tools across the organisation.
Key Requirements
7. Strong background in consulting (Big4 or MBB) with proven experience in finance transformation, operating model redesign, or finance systems/process improvement.
8. Experience within private equity portfolio companies or transaction services highly advantageous.
9. Solid understanding of finance processes ( Order-to-Cash, cash collection).
10. Ability to design, write, and implement new processes as well as create training materials and knowledge content.
11. Familiarity with finance tools and Power BI preferred.
12. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive change across a diverse finance organisation.
13. Based in Paris, available for 3-4 days onsite per week.
