Stock Condition Surveyor
Location: Basildon, Essex
Duration: Temporary up to 6 months
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £18.02 per hour PAYE
We are delighted to be supporting our client to recruit a Stock Condition Surveyor on a full-time, temporary basis!
Job Description:
* To work with a team covering over 11,000 properties.
* This post is responsible to the Stock Condition Co-ordinator for collecting accurate stock condition data.
* Taking account of all the surveys, repairs, maintenance and improvement works undertaken.
* The post holder is required to undertake surveys and reports, relating to the condition of the housing stock, that will help inform strategic investment decisions.
* To assist with health and safety surveys in line with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
* To assess properties using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and to ensure category 1 hazards are resolved promptly.
* To undertake all the duties within the framework of Equal Opportunities.
Key Person specification:
* Experience in building surveying or architectural practice, including stock condition surveying, HHSRS and rdSAP data collection.
* Experience in office procedures and records management.
* Experience of producing clear and concise reports.
* IT skills, including Word, Excel and handheld software.
* Trained in Health & Safety legislation, Domestic Energy Assessment and CDM Regulations
