We are looking for enthusiastic HCAs to join our team, primarily working in the community. The role involves visiting patients in their own homes to help set up their dialysis machines. A car is provided for these visits, and it is essential that you hold a full valid UK driving licence.
Working hours are from 07:30 to 15:30, with occasional late shifts from 12:30 to 20:00, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
You will be part of a small team within Renal Services, and full training will be provided.

Successful applicants will need to provide an immunisation and vaccination report from their current UK occupational health provider or GP.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring all patient interactions and observations are communicated to the appropriate healthcare practitioner.
2. Visiting patients' homes to set up dialysis machines.
3. Performing agreed clinical and non-clinical tasks, expanding skills following training, and referring to healthcare practitioners as needed.
4. Demonstrating technical skills such as cannulation or ECG, where appropriate.
5. Organising daily workload, including the use and cleaning of medical and non-medical equipment.
