Director, Service Excellence, Engineering role located in London, United Kingdom. Lead the Service Excellence Engineering function for the group, with accountability for IT service strategy functions, specifically Service Design and Service Transition, delivering the design and transition of products and services in line with business objectives and ITIL best practices, ensuring operational readiness.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Senior technology interface for IT Service Engineering stakeholders across all lines of business and group technology functions
* Functionally responsible for IT Service Strategy operating model and strategy
* ITIL service governance framework, including Service Transition, Service Strategy & Design, Asset Management
* Responsible for compliance with COBIT Control Library, assurance and testing
* Drive Technology Service Improvement Plans to enhance service effectiveness
* Lead groups Technology Data Office, driving core CMDB, data mapping processes and asset management controls (Hardware Asset Management / Software Asset Management)
* Lead and drive the delivery of Service governance, core control framework and regulatory adherence
* Partner with the business to plan and manage the IT Service Strategy budget across BAU opex and capex investment programmes
* Collaborate with Group Enterprise Service data platform and tooling to drive requirements and automation
* Regulatory, Risk and control oversight across technology
* Design, implement and operate dedicated service management policies, processes and procedures
* Group reporting, key control and risk management
What You’ll Bring
* Proven technology experience designing, operating and running globally diverse teams
* Experience leading large, global, multi-product service teams, platforms and stakeholders
* Comprehensive knowledge of IT Service Management, ITIL control framework and data governance
* Significant people management, leadership and stakeholder management experience
* Executive client and senior stakeholder management
* Experience driving business and technology strategic change initiatives
* Experience working in a complex, international, changing and matrix reporting environment
