We are urgently looking for an experienced locum Substance Misuse/Dual Diagnosis (Mental Health) to join our client’s team in West Midlands. If you are interested, please read the details below:
1. Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday hours per week)
2. Dates: ASAP 6 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 6 months)
3. Pay Rate: depending on the experience, between £29 to £34/hr (PAYE) umbrella options are also available.
Your new role
Undertake mental health assessments for service users who present with co-existing mental health and substance misuse problemsReview service users presenting to services and undertake specialist mental health assessments as required.Case management.To undertake Nurse Alcohol Assessments and determine safe detoxification.Assist in the titration process for opiate service users.To provide screening for BBV, through dry blood spot testing.Offer wound care assessment and basic wound dressing to service users.Essential Qualifications and ExperienceCurrent NMC registration as RMN (Mental Health Nurse)Previous experience of working in substance misuse and mental health settingsExperience of working with people with co-morbid mental health and substance misuse problems.Experience of managing a caseload of clients withplex needs.Knowledge of and skills in appropriate therapeutic interventions for working with people with dual diagnosis.Strongmunication and teamwork skills.**Please note we do not offer sponsorships**What you'll get in return Weekly paymentsHelp with revalidationFree CPD coursesHoliday payFree DBS check
