Teaching Assistants
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for Teaching Assistants to start in September in Pocklington and surrounding areas. These roles are across various age groups and contract lengths, so whether you are seeking part-time or full-time work, we can support you.
The pay for these roles varies between £90-£100 per day initially, with half-day rates in line with this. These bookings will be across 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Half-day times are to be discussed on a role-by-role basis.
Roles involve supporting children on a 1:1 basis in various classes. The children may have undiagnosed needs and display behavior challenges. Knowledge of supporting SEND and behavior management is ideal. You may also be expected to help deliver Phonics, so knowledge of this is essential.
Located within the East Riding, the schools are easily accessible via car. Public transport options are limited unless local. There are free staff car parks with available spaces. These schools have a great reputation, and we meet with all schools to understand the environments you will work in on behalf of Tradewind Recruitment.
Tradewind supports your development through CPD via The National College. Signing up for this role may also lead to other shifts and roles through Tradewind Recruitment.
To succeed in this role, you will need to:

* Have experience supporting SEND pupils and knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curricula.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
