Job Opportunity: Sports Coach in Lincoln
Are you a Sports Graduate considering a career as a Physical Education (PE) Teacher or an aspiring sports coach looking to gain further experience working with young people?
We are recruiting for a secondary school in Lincoln that requires a Sports Coach to work within their Physical Education department. Additionally, there will be an expectation to support other subjects such as Maths or English.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading PE classes in accordance with the school curriculum.
2. Managing class behaviour following the school's behaviour policy.
3. Maintaining health and safety standards.
4. Adapting to cover lessons across other departments when needed.
5. Demonstrating resilience, confidence, and strong behaviour management skills.
6. Working with students aged 11 to 18 years.
- The role is ideally full-time (Monday to Friday), but part-time hours can also be considered.
- The position is term-time only, aligned with the Lincolnshire academic calendar.
- Working hours are from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm.

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
