Role Overview
Health Care Support Worker – Renal – Band 3 (0.85 WTE, part‑time). Stobhill Hospital (Renal Dialysis Unit).
Shift pattern: Monday‑Saturday long days, 31.57 hours each week. Salary pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Support trained staff in safe delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centred care to patients undergoing regular haemodialysis.
* Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control procedures.
* Work as part of a team to maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the unit.
Qualifications & Experience
* Health Care Support Worker – Band 3.
* Knowledge of infection prevention and control standards.
* Previous NHS experience preferred; evidence of learning is desirable.
* Interest in renal care is helpful.
* Demonstrated team‑working skills.
Personal Attributes
* Willingness to work as part of a team.
* Positive, friendly attitude towards patients and colleagues.
