Offer description

You will oversee site operations in a safe and effective manner, responsibilities typically include reviewing technical drawings, managing project budgets, coordinating with clients and ensuring multiple projects are delivered on time. Piling techniques include Driven precast, Driven tubular steel, Continuous Flight Auger (CFA), Sectional Flight Auger (SFA), Continuous Helical Displacement (CHD), Drill and Case (Odex), various restricted access piling such as Bottom driven mini piling and Vibro stone column Ground Improvement.

We are looking for someone who has great communication skills, experience of project management.

Ideally you will need to hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar related field.

* Technical Knowledge – Understanding of civil engineering, geotechnics, or structural engineering principles.
* Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret data, problem-solve, and apply engineering concepts effectively.
* Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in calculations, designs, and reports.
* Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication for technical reports and team collaboration.
* Teamwork & Collaboration – Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
* Geotechnical pile design – Proven experience of pile design, this is essential to the role.
* Project Management Awareness – Understanding of planning, organisation, and time management in engineering projects.
* Knowledge of Industry Standards – Awareness of ICE or GeolSoc guidelines and best practices.
* Software Proficiency – Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Plaxis, or similar tools.
* Health & Safety Awareness – Understanding of site safety and risk management principles.
* Commercial Awareness – Basic knowledge of business operations, contracts, and project costing.
* Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactive approach to identifying and resolving engineering challenges.
