Overview
A large national property maintenance company is looking for an experienced Painter/Decorator to be based at a large mobile site in and around Cambridgeshire, covering Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Bedford, and Haverhill. This is a fantastic role for the right person to join an established maintenance team.
Position: Repairs & Maintenance Operative (Permanent, Full time)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + company van and fuel card, benefits
Responsibilities
* Carry out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties within a social housing setting.
* Undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work including minor plumbing, joinery, tiling, kitchen and bathroom fitting, etc.
* Receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided).
* Work efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.
Required Skills
* NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative (or equivalent).
* Ideally CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card and strong H&S knowledge.
* Customer-focused with experience in occupied and void properties; commitment to high-quality repairs on time, first time.
* Social housing maintenance experience is desirable.
* Own tools and a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
