About The Role

The PMO Analyst sits within the Project Management Office (PMO) in Node4 Digital and is responsible for maximising the utilisation and efficiency of the digital practices chargeable delivery resources ensuring all our client’s projects are sufficiently resourced with the correct skills, in-turn enabling the successful delivery of each project. In addition to the resource management responsibilities the team is responsible for analysing key delivery and project/governance metrics ensuring they are regularly reviewed, and corrective actions are taken when required to maintain the high quality, customer satisfaction and overall performance levels we are proud to consistently to achieve.

PMO are the central point of contact for resourcing queries and play a key role in the co-ordination of projects and resources. PMO Analysts will work closely with Digital Practice leads to maintain high utilisation and progress resourcing requests across the Digital organisation.

As a PMO Analyst, your responsibilities will include the following:


* Work in collaboration with the PMO team to ensure we manage our resource capacity in the most efficient and effective ways to maximise utilisation, customer and employee satisfaction.
* Work closely with Practice Leads ensuring projects are resourced sufficiently and long-term resource planning considerations are made in a timely manner.
* Monitor and analyse key delivery/governance metrics frequently, escalating risks and issues when appropriate to the relevant internal stakeholders.
* Take lead in corrective action where risks and issues are identified to minimise impact to both the project and wider delivery operation.
* Proactively review project plans and milestones and when necessary, the realignment of resource against revised plans.
* Support Practice Leads in managing change requests quickly and effectively to minimise project delays.
* Undertake supporting PMO administrative tasks such as timesheets, system config, data cleansing, absences and annual leave.
* Perform an active role in lessons learned and distributing this information through the relevant communication channels.
* Supporting Sales Team and Practice Leads to understand pipeline and plan for mobilisation of resources to allow a seamless transition into delivery.
* Supporting the mobilisation stage to ensure the correct resources are aligned to projects before delivery commences.

What will you bring?

* Highly driven with good negotiation skills, unblocking and driving forward projects.
* Outstanding organisational skills, able to manage their time effectively with multiple, concurrent high-priority demands.
* Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels up to and including C-level.
* A positive can-do attitude and able to find creative solutions to problems.
* Ability to work well under pressure, to tight deadline and to communicate competing demands effectively.
* Confident and resilient to deal with challenges from others in the organisation.
* Ability to work both alone and in collaboration with a team.

It would be advantageous but not essential to also have the following skills:

* Previous experience in a similar function or role.
* A solid understanding of project delivery roles and methodologies.
* Experience in leading meeting and calls ensuring desired outcomes are met.
* Strong commercial awareness.

* Prince2 Foundation
* Agile PM Foundation
* House of PMO Qualifications
