Financial Accountant

Looking for ACA qualified candidates from practice for a newly created Financial Accountant role within a PE-backed, fast-growing technology business experiencing significant acquisition-led growth.
Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, this role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, audit, tax and business partnering within a 30-person finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of month-end close and full P&L reporting for subsidiaries
- Preparation of board reporting packs with variance analysis and commentary
- Statutory accounts preparation under FRS102
- Coordination of external audit requirements and responses
- Support on corporate tax processes with external advisors (EY)
- Contribution to technical accounting and policy development
- Ownership and improvement of staff capitalisation processes (R&D/capitalised labour)
- Business partnering with FP&A, engineering and wider commercial teams
- Involvement in process improvement and finance automation, including AI adoption
