We have an exciting opportunity for a SPAR Customer Team Member. As a Customer Team Member at SPAR on Taylors Avenue, Cleethorpes, you will play a vital role in supporting our store management and creating a positive customer experience. You will assist in maximising sales and profit by carrying out allocated tasks to contribute to the store's continuous improvement, ensuring great customer service through ‘Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food for later and Food for now!’

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
* Greeting customers warmly and friendly.
* Answering inquiries about products and services, helping customers find items.
* Processing transactions efficiently and accurately at the tills, maintaining friendly service.
* Upselling products and highlighting multi-buy offers to maximise sales.
Store Operations:
* Managing stock: checking deliveries, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, rotating stock for freshness.
* Completing tasks such as date checking, stock and gap checking, price changes, promotional displays, and other duties as assigned.
* Following all company policies, procedures, and processes.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
* Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
* Reliable, attentive to detail, and able to follow instructions.
* Understanding of retail legislative responsibilities and compliance skills.
* Ability to suggest ideas for excellent customer service and business growth.
* Experience with ‘Challenge 25’ policy is desirable.
* Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently.
* Cash handling experience is a plus but not essential.
