We are seeking a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing and pipefitting tasks. This role involves working with various materials and systems, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
* Read and interpret schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly and installation of pipes and fittings.
* Conduct regular maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and provide effective solutions.
* Adhere to safety regulations while performing all tasks to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in plumbing or pipefitting roles is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
* Familiarity with construction practices and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
