An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administration support officer to join the Health Access Team for asylum seekers within Swansea Bay University Health Board.
The Health Access Team is a dynamic and innovative nurse-led service. It provides a holistic, person-centred approach in assessing an individual's physical and emotional well-being. The team promotes healthy behaviours and delivers public health services. It signposts and refers to services, voluntary support, and translated health information. The team advocates for individuals and represents the needs of asylum seekers in various strategic forums.
The team promotes a nurturing, supportive environment to ensure staff will thrive and reach their full potential within the service.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential: Level 3 qualification eg NVQ/QCF or RSA 111 (or equivalent).
* Desirable: Business administration qualification.
Knowledge
* Essential: Understanding of information governance protocol and confidentiality; knowledge of organisational policies, procedures, and IT packages; working knowledge of filing/data systems including record management/destruction.
* Desirable: Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Experience
* Essential: Experience handling confidential matters and sensitive data; communicating with all professional levels and the public; demonstrating administrative experience.
* Desirable: Administering finance systems; working in an NHS environment.
Aptitude and abilities
* Essential: Good communication skills, problem-solving, leadership within admin roles, ability to work independently and under pressure, team flexibility.
* Desirable: Welsh language skills levels 1-5.
