Overview
Our NPS client requires an administrator to join the busy team on a temporary basis. For the right candidate, this will be providing ongoing support to a Probation Officer (PO) within the National Probation Service.
The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day, 10:00am to 12:00pm, £12.21/hr. As the PO only works until 12:00pm Monday to Friday, the 2 hours per day would suit someone potentially returning to work and fitting their hours around the school run. The role is based in Worksop and the successful candidate would attend the office every day whilst in training and for all appointments. This would be reviewed after a period of time. The role offers an opportunity to work within the Probation Service and gain experience within the Public Sector.
As you will be involved with the support of the PO\'s work, you will need to be able to organise and prioritise their workload, manage their diaries and work commitments, ensuring all targets are met.
All activities will align with NPS policies and procedures. The job holder must at all times demonstrate a commitment to equality and inclusion and understand their relevance to the work they do.
Full training will be given on the systems and protocols. The role will require full 3-year referencing and HMPPS vetting. Due to this, the role will not be an immediate start and could take a couple of months to become compliant.
