We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead our UK branch operations in Solihull (Birmingham). This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for branch performance, team development and customer success whilst driving strategic growth and contributing to Röhlig Logistics’ global initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Lead, coach and develop the branch team, creating a collaborative and high-performing culture
2. Drive branch profitability through effective P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and supplier negotiations
3. Deliver operational excellence by ensuring compliance, efficiency and high-quality customer service
4. Support business development by building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and engaging with key accounts
5. Implement global standards and digital solutions, ensuring integration with customer requirements
6. Represent Röhlig in the market, building partnerships with suppliers, industry stakeholders and international offices

Skills required

You will bring strong logistics and freight forwarding expertise, with proven experience in leading teams and managing branch-level operations. You combine commercial acumen with strategic thinking and you are confident in financial management. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential, along with a readiness to adopt digital tools and solutions. A degree in logistics, supply chain or business administration (or equivalent) is preferred. CargoWise certification is an advantage.
