We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and well-motivated radiographer to join our busy imaging team. The successful candidate will rotate through CT and MRI, participate in teaching students and radiographers, and provide high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Performing CT and MRI scans in a busy hospital environment.
2. Involvement in practical and theoretical teaching for students and radiographers on rotation.
3. Providing 24/7 on-site cover for CT as part of a major trauma centre.
4. Working evenings and weekends as part of a 37-hour week schedule.
5. Maintaining a commitment to continuing professional development and further education.
Essential requirements:
1. Previous NHS experience is essential.
2. Established experience in CT is essential.
3. MRI experience is advantageous.
4. Ability to work proactively and flexibly to provide the highest quality service.
Additional information:
The department uses Canon Aquilion Prism, Prime SP, Lightning CT scanners, and Philips Intera Ambition X and Siemens Magnetom Aera MRI scanners. The role involves evening and weekend work.
