About the Role
As an Internal Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing B2B customers. You’ll act as the main point of contact for your accounts, ensuring they receive exceptional service while identifying opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
This role sits at the heart of our Sales department, working closely with external sales, purchasing, marketing, and technical teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an established portfolio of accounts within the AV/IT/technology channel
* Build strong, long‑lasting relationships with customers through regular communication
* Proactively identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities
* Provide accurate quotations, pricing, and product information
* Process orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery
* Work closely with external sales teams to support strategic account development
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines
* Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally
* Monitor account performance and take action to maximise revenue
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
* Contribute to monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in AV, IT distribution, or technology sales is essential
* Proven success in an Internal Account Manager or similar B2B sales role
* Ability to hit the ground running with minimal hand‑holding
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the technology channel
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* Confident in managing multiple accounts and priorities
* Proactive, target‑driven, and customer‑focused
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
