About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity within our Domestic Department, which is integral to school life and strives for excellence in its service provision. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Cleaner.
This is a Part Time, Term Time (34 weeks per year), permanent position. Working hours are 6pm-8pm (12 hours per week over 34 weeks) and 15 weekends (2 hours each). Key responsibilities:
* Cleaning large wooden floor areas and carpets.
* Operating heavy-duty powered equipment.
* Cleaning various school areas including classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, gym, drama area, library, art rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, changing areas, music school, science labs, food tech area, Chapel, corridors, and pool changing rooms.
* Washing floors, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, brass, pictures, and high-level dusting.
Person specification:
* Good understanding of English, able to follow instructions.
