Job Title: Residential Care Worker (In a Children's Home)

* £13.56 p/h
* Hours: Flexible plus sleep-in duties as required

Service Description:
Small EBD Residential Children's Home for children 11-17 years.
Job Purpose:
As a Residential Care Worker, you will work in a small, nurturing EBD Residential Children's Home, providing care and support to children aged 11 to 17 years. You will be an integral part of creating a safe and homely environment where our Children can thrive. By fostering positive relationships and utilising your proactive approach, you will contribute to the well-being and growth of each Child in our care.

In a Nut Shell
You'll take care of our young people day to day, making sure things run smoothly and creating lasting memories. This involves making sure they are up and ready for school, helping with homework, completing paperwork and planning activities. Evenings and weekends are for fun, whether that's playing on the console, a game of football, having a film day or going go-karting – not a bad way to spend your day at work Working here is never dull, and the work really matters. It's about tapping into each young person's needs, personality and potential - and guiding them toward a positive future.
Person Specification:
* Minimum Qualifications and Education: GCSE English or equivalent (Essential), Excellent written English, IT skills
* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
* Experience: Experience working within a childcare setting, experience with traumatised children and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
