We are working in partnership with a respected international publisher of print and digital resources for first responders and healthcare professionals. They are seeking an Academic Sales Representative to join their expanding team.
Role Details:
Salary: £35-45k DOE
Location: home-based / remote (UK) or hybrid from one of the 3 offices (Bristol, Bridgewater or Brighton)
Permanent / full time role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with universities and training institutions, with the goal of increasing sales of textbooks and digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
·Visit universities, training centres, and ambulance services to promote products
·Distribute inspection copies of books and follow up to encourage adoption of both print and digital titles
·Develop strong relationships with academic and professional stakeholders
·Manage your sales pipeline using the company CRM system
·Demonstrate a clear understanding of the company's app-based products and explore ways they can be adapted to meet customer needs
·Identify new opportunities for digital product growth
·Represent the company at conferences and industry events, with regular travel across the UK and occasional international trips
·Gather and relay customer feedback to editorial and marketing teams

About You:
We are looking for a candidate with experience in a sales role, ideally within academic publishing, and a strong understanding of the university sector.
