Key Responsibilities for this role include tasks within both Maintenance Leadership and Controls & Automation.
Therefore, the Controls & Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance and controls engineering activities across the manufacturing plants. This includes the management of preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability, and leading the site’s controls and automation strategy.
The role oversees both mechanical/electrical maintenance teams and control system activities, ensuring peak machine performance, safety compliance, robust training plans, and continuous improvement.
The Key Requirements...
* Relevant electrical and controls engineering qualification
* Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience leading or managing maintenance and/ or controls teams
* Strong controls engineering capability (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Mitsubishi or similar).
* Working in tandem with the engineering manager in moving the engineering department forward both on the shop floor and from a strategic prospective
* Strong focus on equipment reliability and RCA
